A Day to Remember

Yesterday was the 42nd year anniversary of my father’s death. As I light the Yortsite candle I will be thinking of how much I miss him and how blessed that so many people are getting turned on to him and that our First Amendment still is a priority.

Whenever he is mentioned I think how cool is that? Anyway just thought you would like to know.

George Carlin Moves On

George Carlin left much more behind than the “Hippie Dippie Weather Man” and “The Seven Words You Can Not Say“.

Like my father, and Richard Pryor, George was in a class of one. He was a master of words, dialect and associating the normal everyday into the exquisite art of funny. George gave me my first casino gig as his opening act in Atlantic City so many laughs ago.

The “Greats” of comedy are dying off. I can just imagine what George would have said regarding Awards. I loved George and the seven words. I never wanted to say so soon, George. I will miss you very much.
