    Hi Kitty
    I try to post this once I hope it doesn’t post twice. I knew your mother Honey in Hawii. i was a member of 12 coconuts from 93 to 97 and Honey use to show up now and then and sing her litte song “I start my day the AA way”. She was a good friend and made great pineapple upsidedown cake she would bring and share with us on birthday day. I meet you once i don’t think you will remmber anyway she was a great lady and still mades me smile every time I think of her.

    Dear lain,
    Thank you for your kind words . I don’t think my father ever was deported from Scotland. However he did have the displeasure of being deported from England
    which did not thrill my grandfather,( his father) because the family was from Kent.

    I understand that Lenny Bruce is responsible for about 50 percent of all the happiness that i recieve today. I mean i get to laugh at things that would have ordinarily been taboo if it werent for your father. The other 50 percent comes from me having the ability to get on stage myself and say the things that can bring people together. To make people laugh and smile is my ultimate dream in life. Its thanks to people like Lenny that i can become one giant step closer to that dream. I’m 19 and hope to become a successful standup comedian myself.

    I wanted to let you know that my mother and your mother were 1st cousins, and
    I met your mother a couple of times when she was visiting in Arkansas. My Grandfather WD (Sport) Layson and your grandmother Mabel (my Aunt Mabel) were brother and sister. I remember Aunt Mabel fondly. My mother was Sue Layson Gorham.
    I have a picture of your mother, my Grandfather Sport and your great-grandmother Anna Elizabeth Howard if you would like a copy of it. This is a
    wonderful web site and memorial to your father.
